Key Account Manager

About the role

Ninjacart, India's leading fresh‑produce agritech platform, is seeking a Key Account Manager to lead distributor selection, onboarding and ongoing relationship management. You will act as the primary liaison between the company and its distribution partners, ensuring smooth operations and growth across the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and onboard new distributors, communicating product details, policies and expectations.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing distributors, serving as the main point of contact.
• Define and track key performance indicators, analysing data to improve sales and distribution efficiency.
• Provide training and support to enhance distributors' product knowledge and sales capabilities.
• Negotiate contracts, manage renewals, amendments and terminations while ensuring legal compliance.
• Conduct market research to spot trends, competitive threats and growth opportunities.
• Gather feedback from distributors and customers to inform product and service improvements.
• Continuously refine distributor management processes and implement best practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience in B2B sales, key account or distributor management, preferably in agritech or fresh‑produce sectors.
• Strong negotiation, communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Analytical mindset with ability to interpret performance data and market insights.
• Self‑motivated, results‑oriented and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
