Key Account Manager – Ice Cream (South India)

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic, results‑driven Key Account Manager to lead the growth of our Ice Cream business across South India. The role focuses on strategic account management, new‑business development and building strong customer relationships within the food ingredients sector.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow strategic customer accounts across Bakery, Dairy (Ice Cream) and Confectionery.
• Identify, develop and convert new business opportunities throughout South India.
• Drive the complete sales cycle from lead generation to commercial closure.
• Build strong relationships with key customers and understand their application requirements.
• Lead commercial negotiations, pricing discussions and customer development plans.
• Collaborate closely with R&D, Technical Services, Product Development, Marketing and Supply Chain teams.
• Identify opportunities for new product development, applications and market expansion.
• Drive account growth, profitability and long‑term customer relationships.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in Food Industry Sales, preferably in Food Ingredients.
• Strong experience handling Ice Cream and Bakery accounts in South India.
• Proven hunter/business‑development mindset with a track record of opening new accounts.
• Excellent key account management and relationship‑building abilities.
• Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding sales targets.
• Willingness to travel extensively across South India.
