Junior Web Developer

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Junior Web Developer to join our fast‑growing pharmaceutical company in Mumbai. You will work closely with the senior Web Developer to build, maintain, and improve our corporate websites and e‑commerce platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain company websites, landing pages and product portals.
• Handle basic front‑end tasks using HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript and ensure responsive design across devices.
• Manage WordPress, Shopify and Wix sites – theme and plugin updates, product uploads, and integrations.
• Fix bugs, optimise performance, and perform regular backups, security patches and plugin updates.
• Assist the senior developer with testing, debugging, deployment and content updates.
• Support simple backend tasks such as form handling, API calls, CMS configuration and basic database queries.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of hands‑on web development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, Web Development or related field.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot issues independently.
• Good communication skills and willingness to collaborate with design and internal teams.
