About the role
Cisco Secure Workload is seeking a junior UI/Full Stack developer to assist in building features for policy, vulnerability management, and related areas. You will collaborate with the team, working on small‑to‑medium features from technical design through completion.
Key responsibilities
- Establish relationships and collaborate effectively with your team.
- Develop small‑to‑medium features, writing functional clean code, unit tests, and end‑to‑end tests.
- Participate in code reviews, address feedback, and assist in delivery of technical design features.
- Monitor and triage incident reports, participate in post‑mortems and on‑call duties as needed.
- Estimate task effort and communicate status, blockers, and delays.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of related experience, or Master’s degree with no experience required.
- Basic knowledge of software development theories, principles and concepts, gained through coursework or internship.
Required skills
- JavaScript / TypeScript
- React or Angular (or similar front‑end framework)
- Experience with back‑end languages such as Go, Ruby on Rails, or Node.js
