Junior Technical Support Executive

About the role

ZM Technologies is seeking a Junior Technical Support Executive to provide L1 support to clients via phone, email, WhatsApp and ticketing systems. The role involves troubleshooting desktops, operating systems, networks, email, cloud and basic infrastructure issues.

Key responsibilities

• Handle client support requests through multiple channels and manage tickets until resolution.
• Provide L1 support for desktops, laptops, printers, Windows/Linux OS and common applications.
• Perform remote and on‑site troubleshooting, including basic network, firewall and server tasks.
• Manage user accounts, password resets and mailboxes in Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and Zoho Mail.
• Assist with basic DNS, domain, Active Directory and Windows Server administration.
• Escalate complex issues to senior engineers and ensure SLA compliance.

Required profile

• 0–1 year of experience or fresh graduate with relevant certifications.
• Willingness to work rotational shifts, provide 24×7 support and travel to client sites in Pune and across India.

Required skills

• Windows and Linux operating systems
• Active Directory and Windows Server basics
• Networking concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, WAN, VPN, Wi‑Fi
• Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Zoho Mail
• Basic firewall knowledge (Fortinet, Sophos, Cisco)
• Certifications such as CCNA, MCSA, Microsoft Azure, VMware or Hyper‑V
