Junior Site Engineer (Civil) – Trainee

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Site Engineer (Civil) to join our Projects/Construction team. This trainee position offers hands‑on experience supervising daily construction activities, supporting quality checks, and collaborating with subcontractors on site.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Site Engineers in supervising daily construction activities.
• Monitor labour work and ensure execution as per approved drawings.
• Take site measurements and maintain accurate measurement records.
• Prepare daily work progress reports and update site registers.
• Check levels, alignment, dimensions, and basic quality of civil works.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and the site store for materials and tools.
• Support QA/QC inspections and rectify observations under supervision.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and adherence to safety procedures.
• Attend site meetings and report progress to the Project Manager.
• Perform any other site‑related duties assigned by the reporting manager.

Required profile

• B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Fresher to 1 year of experience in construction.
• Ability to read and interpret approved drawings.
• Basic understanding of QA/QC procedures and safety standards.
