Junior Service Desk Engineer – L1 Support

About the role

Join Sopra Steria as a Junior Service Desk Engineer and provide first‑line technical assistance to our international users. You will work in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment, handling a variety of IT incidents and ensuring smooth daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver L1 support via phone, email and chat for Windows/OS, MS Office, hardware, printers, networks, VPN and Active Directory issues.
• Log, categorize, prioritize and track incidents in ServiceNow while meeting defined SLAs.
• Resolve incidents using standard procedures and escalate complex cases to L2/L3 teams.
• Coordinate with technical teams, follow incidents through to resolution and maintain accurate ticket documentation.
• Adhere to ITIL processes, security guidelines and support procedures.
• Manage multiple tickets efficiently in a 24/7 shift environment.

Required profile

• 0‑1 years of experience in L1 Service Desk or Help Desk support.
• Graduate of any discipline.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience supporting international clients.
