Junior QA Engineer (Fresher) – Software Testing

About the role

We are seeking a passionate and detail‑oriented QA Engineer Fresher to start a career in software testing and quality assurance. The role offers hands‑on experience with real‑world web applications, APIs, and modern QA tools, including automation and AI‑assisted testing.

Key responsibilities

• Understand project requirements and create test scenarios and test cases.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and UI testing of web applications.
• Execute basic API testing using Postman and validate responses.
• Identify, document, and track bugs with clear reproduction steps.
• Assist in developing and maintaining automated test cases using Selenium or similar frameworks.
• Conduct basic database testing and verify data with SQL queries.
• Collaborate with developers and senior QA engineers to resolve issues.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and follow QA best practices.

Required profile

• 0–1 year of experience or fresh graduate in Software Testing or QA.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field (preferred).
• Strong logical, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good attention to detail and English communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn new testing tools, automation techniques and AI‑based QA practices.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of software testing concepts, SDLC/STLC.
• Familiarity with test case creation, bug reporting and defect life‑cycle.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
• Understanding of Selenium or other automation frameworks.
• SQL basics for database validation.
• Interest in AI‑assisted testing tools.
