Junior Project Control Engineer – Passenger Terminal Building

About the role

The Junior Project Control Engineer will support the Senior Project Control Manager in planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, cost tracking and risk management for the construction of Passenger Terminal Buildings and associated airport systems in Ahmedabad and Trivandrum.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, update and maintain integrated project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Prepare baseline, detailed work programmes, recovery schedules and look‑ahead plans.
• Conduct schedule variance analysis and assess impacts of changes, delays and recovery measures.
• Track key milestones, interfaces, testing, commissioning and handover targets.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards and KPI summaries for management.
• Support cost tracking, forecasting, Earned Value Management and project performance reporting.
• Maintain risk registers, change logs, action trackers and other project control records.
• Validate contractor progress against site achievements and monitor productivity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or related discipline.
• 10‑15 years of experience in project controls, planning, scheduling and cost management.
• Minimum 5 years of experience on aviation projects involving airport terminal buildings.
• Proven ability to develop and manage integrated schedules and reporting systems.
• Experience coordinating with consultants, contractors and airport system vendors.
