Junior Network Planner

About the role

Flix is looking for a motivated Junior Network Planner to join its network planning team in Gurugram. You will support the launch and optimisation of FlixBus lines across India, using data‑driven insights to shape a sustainable and affordable travel network.

Key responsibilities

• Lead network launches by planning, executing and handing over routes to internal stakeholders.
• Track and analyse network performance, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Optimise routes, frequencies and schedules to increase efficiency and profitability.
• Collaborate with business partners, revenue management and local teams to develop the FlixBus network.
• Coordinate line‑start processes and operational requests across functional teams.
• Base decisions on quantitative analysis of multiple data sets.
• Contribute to the expansion of FlixBus in India, driving innovation in transportation.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in economics, urban planning, geographical engineering, transportation or a related field.
• 1‑2 years of experience in network or transportation planning, preferably in a global environment.
• Strong understanding of India’s geography and travel demand patterns.
• Excellent analytical abilities with a data‑driven decision‑making approach.
• Business acumen and an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Fluent written and spoken English and proven cross‑functional coordination skills.
