Junior Mechanical Drawing Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Mechanical Drawing Engineer to join our technical services team at Rawan Cement Works. The role focuses on creating and finalising mechanical drawings for spare parts, capital‑expenditure projects and proposals, supporting the plant’s fabrication and erection activities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed mechanical drawings and layouts for spare parts and CAPEX projects using the latest AutoCAD version.
• Develop Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and assist in cost estimation and feasibility studies.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Support the design team in creating proposals and finalising layouts for mechanical installations.
• Maintain accurate sketch work for spare parts and update drawing databases.

Required profile

• Mechanical diploma or equivalent with a focus on AutoCAD drafting.
• Junior‑level experience or internship in mechanical drawing or design.
• Familiarity with plant‑level fabrication and erection processes.
• Awareness of safety standards in engineering design.
