Junior Engineer – Machining

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Engineer specialized in machining to join our Machine Shop Operations team in Alwar, Rajasthan. You will support the delivery of high‑quality heavy engineering components by operating advanced CNC equipment and driving continuous improvement across safety, productivity, quality, efficiency and delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with safety standards and contribute to improvement initiatives.
• Operate and optimise CNC machines such as HMC, VMC, turning centres, VTL, HBM and turn‑mills.
• Interpret engineering drawings and set up machining processes for large steel parts (over 1 m or 1 ton).
• Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, supply chain and engineering teams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Document work, record data in SAP and support lean manufacturing and TPM activities.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognised institution.
• 2‑4 years of hands‑on machining experience, preferably on HBM and VTL machines.
• Strong knowledge of engineering drawings, machining processes and inspection techniques.
• Good communication skills and ability to work across functions.
