Junior Draughtsman Trainee (Commercial Kitchen Design)

About the role

We are looking for a Junior/Trainee Draughtsman to join our Design Team in Ahmedabad. The role involves translating design concepts into accurate technical drawings for commercial kitchen projects, supporting senior designers and ensuring documentation aligns with project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D drawings and layouts for commercial kitchen projects.
• Develop floor plans, equipment layouts, sections and elevations as per project requirements.
• Assist senior designers and draughtsmen in preparing shop and fabrication drawings.
• Understand and coordinate architectural, civil, electrical, and plumbing drawings with the design team.
• Incorporate design revisions and client/consultant comments into drawings.
• Maintain accurate drawing records, revisions and documentation.

Required profile

• Diploma/ITI/Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Architecture, Interior Design or a related field.
• Freshers with a strong interest in drafting and technical design are welcome.
• Willingness to learn and work in a project‑driven, site‑oriented environment.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Good understanding of dimensions, measurements and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
