Junior Designer (Architecture)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Designer to join our architecture and planning studio in Kolkata. You will support the design team in creating functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces for residential and commercial projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare architectural drawings, diagrams and presentation boards for internal review and client communication.
• Assist senior designers with concept development, design revisions and visualisation.
• Organise project documentation and maintain up‑to‑date design files.
• Participate in internal review meetings and help ensure design consistency across all project materials.
• Visit project sites occasionally to gather information and verify design intent.

Required profile

• Foundational knowledge of architectural design, space planning and visual composition.
• Degree or diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, Urban Planning or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities, with a willingness to learn and accept feedback.
• Prior internship or project experience in an architecture or design office is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with industry‑standard design and drafting software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp or Revit.
