Junior Customer Service Executive – India Operations & Automation

About the role

The Junior Customer Service Executive will support day‑to‑day network operations for Tata Communications’ India operations, focusing on new rollouts and automation. Working under direct supervision, the role involves troubleshooting, equipment upgrades, and coordination with vendors and IRU partners to ensure network reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and administer network tools and equipment.
• Assist with and implement installations as required.
• Perform daily site activities, ensuring SLA compliance.
• Coordinate IRU route and COLO IP activities for infrastructure tasks.
• Handle vendor and IRU partner interactions to improve fiber network uptime.
• Manage materials, compliance processes, and team activities through apps such as FSM and ServiceNow.

Required profile

• Graduate with 0‑2 years of experience.
• Experience in ISP troubleshooting of DWDM and SDH equipment (Ciena, Tejas, Nokia, Huawei).
• Familiarity with optical fiber testing, OTDR, LSPM, and fiber splicing using Fujikura machines.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders, providing RCA and POA updates.
• Knowledge of infrastructure components such as SMPS, battery banks, DG, and PAC.
