Junior Communications Manager (Sustainability)

About the role

Join Smart Freight Centre India as a Junior Communications Manager and help translate climate‑focused freight initiatives into clear, engaging stories. You will work at the intersection of communications, sustainability and logistics, supporting both India‑specific and global campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Support the India Communications team in implementing the communications strategy, campaigns and calendar.
• Create and edit content for LinkedIn, newsletters, website, announcements, presentations, one‑pagers and blogs.
• Design visual assets and coordinate digital publishing across SFC India’s platforms.
• Assist in communications for events, webinars and key initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and the global communications team to gather information and ensure consistent messaging.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or 0‑2 years of experience in communications, marketing or related fields.
• Strong written and verbal English skills with an interest in climate action and logistics.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast‑moving environment.

Required skills

• Content creation for digital channels (social media, newsletters, website).
• Basic visual design and layout skills.
• Familiarity with digital publishing tools and content management systems.
