About the role

Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India is looking for an entry‑level backend engineer to join its Change Management department in Bangalore. You will build and maintain Java‑based services that power live automotive applications.

Key responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
Implement RESTful APIs and micro‑service components.
Collaborate with frontend and QA teams on active projects.
Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback.
Work with SQL‑based databases for data persistence.

Required profile

Junior/entry‑level candidate with a solid grasp of core Java concepts.
Working knowledge of the Spring Boot framework.
Basic understanding of REST APIs and micro‑service architecture.
Familiarity with SQL databases.
Willingness to receive and act on code review feedback.
