Junior Architect & Construction Manager – Architectural Works & Interiors

About the role

The Junior Architect cum Construction Manager will support the Sr. Architect cum Construction Manager in delivering architectural works, interior fit‑outs, façades and finishes for airport facilities across Mangalore, Ahmedabad and Trivandrum. The role involves progress monitoring, quality assurance, testing, commissioning and handover of all architectural elements.

Key responsibilities

• Review GFC drawings, specifications and shop drawings to identify constructability issues and site discrepancies.
• Supervise construction activities for architectural works, façades, interior fit‑outs, finishes, signage and passenger‑facing facilities.
• Monitor progress, flag delays, resource shortages and interface bottlenecks, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Manage interfaces with structural, MEP, ICT and airport systems to ensure seamless integration.
• Conduct site inspections, quality checks, mock‑up reviews and ensure compliance with approved materials and safety standards.
• Prepare progress reports, punch lists, as‑built documentation and support testing, commissioning and handover activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture; COA registration preferred.
• 5‑10 years of experience in architectural construction supervision, fit‑outs and façade systems.
• Minimum 5 years of experience on airport or aviation infrastructure projects.
• Experience working with PMC consultants, EPC contractors, airport operators or client‑side project teams.
• Knowledge of DGCA, ICAO, NBC, fire‑life safety and accessibility standards.

Required skills

• BIM, Revit and AutoCAD.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Understanding of DGCA, ICAO, NBC, fire‑life safety and accessibility regulations.
• Multidisciplinary interface management and documentation control.
