Junior Android Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Android Engineer to join our remote team building an Enterprise SaaS product. You will work on modern Android applications using Kotlin, Coroutines and Jetpack Compose, focusing on performance, architecture and seamless user experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Android features using Kotlin, Coroutines and Jetpack Compose.
• Apply performance optimisation and clean architecture principles.
• Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines, release engineering and staged roll‑outs.
• Implement crash monitoring, offline storage and sync mechanisms.
• Integrate REST or GraphQL clients with proper retry and cache strategies.
• Participate in code reviews, Git branching and version‑control best practices.

Required profile

• 0‑1 years of production Android experience.
• Strong hands‑on knowledge of Kotlin and Coroutines, able to justify technical choices.
• Solid understanding of data structures, HTTP fundamentals and version control.
• Excellent reasoning skills and ability to explain technical decisions clearly.
