Junior Accountant

About the role

We are a fast‑growing FMCG startup in Dehradun looking for a detail‑oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team. You will support day‑to‑day accounting operations, ensure statutory compliance, and assist in preparing financial reports.

Key responsibilities

• Record and maintain daily accounting transactions.
• Maintain books of accounts using Zoho Books.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Perform bank and ledger reconciliations.
• Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, and journal entries.
• Assist with GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance requirements.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
• Prepare MIS and financial reports as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience.
• Hands‑on experience with Zoho Books (mandatory).
• Working knowledge of GST, TDS, bookkeeping, and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
