Junior Accountant – GST & Tally Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Junior Accountant to support daily accounting operations in our Ahmedabad office. The role focuses on maintaining accurate records, handling GST compliance, and assisting with banking activities.

Key responsibilities

• Enter and reconcile day‑to‑day transactions using Tally or other accounting software.
• Prepare and maintain sales, purchase, and expense documentation.
• File GST returns (GSTR‑1, GSTR‑3B) and perform GST reconciliation.
• Assist in the preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns (ITR).
• Execute bank reconciliation statements, manage cheque deposits and payments.
• Support senior accountant during monthly and annual closing cycles.
• Coordinate with the Chartered Accountant for audits and compliance matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles, GST, ITR, and banking processes.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and maintain high accuracy.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Tally accounting software.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
