Junior Accountant (Bangalore)

About the role

Broadwings is seeking a Junior Accountant to join its finance team in Bangalore. The role involves supporting day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records and assisting with compliance tasks such as GST and TDS.

Key responsibilities

• Record sales, purchases, receipts, payments, expenses and journal entries.
• Maintain ledgers and accounting entries using Tally (Prime/ERP).
• Prepare and file invoices, bills, vouchers and supporting documents.
• Perform bank and ledger reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable, tracking outstanding amounts.
• Support the preparation of monthly financial statements and MIS reports.
• Handle GST and TDS documentation, calculations and compliance activities.
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors and external consultants as needed.
• Provide assistance during audits and month-end/year-end closing.
• Maintain confidentiality of all financial and client information.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of relevant accounting/finance experience.
• B.Com, M.Com or BBA Finance (or equivalent).
• Based in Bangalore, India.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
