Jewelry Designer

About the role

Gems Paradise is looking for a creative and detail‑oriented Jewelry Designer to develop innovative collections that reflect the brand’s heritage and modern aesthetic. The role involves turning concepts into tangible pieces while collaborating closely with product development, merchandising, and production teams.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualize and design original jewelry pieces and collections across fine, fashion, and bridal segments.
• Translate ideas into sketches, CAD models, and detailed technical drawings.
• Research market trends, materials, gemstones, and customer preferences.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure design feasibility and production readiness.
• Create comprehensive design specifications, including measurements, materials, stone details, and finishes.
• Review samples, prototypes, and final pieces for quality, accuracy, and design integrity.
• Work with vendors, artisans, and manufacturers to refine designs and resolve production issues.
• Manage multiple projects, meeting deadlines and budget constraints while evolving the brand’s design language.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Jewelry Design, Fashion Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of proven experience as a Jewelry Designer.
• Strong artistic sensibility combined with technical expertise.
• Excellent sketching, visualization, and conceptual thinking abilities.
• Attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics and craftsmanship.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CAD software such as Rhino, Matrix, or Jewel CAD.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Solid understanding of gemstones, metals, settings, and manufacturing techniques.
