Jewellery Inventory Executive – Andheri MIDC, Mumbai

About the role

We are looking for a meticulous Jewellery Inventory Executive to oversee gold, diamond, platinum, silver and precious‑stone stock at our Andheri‑MIDC facility. The role involves ensuring 100% inventory accuracy, coordinating with production and retail teams, and safeguarding high‑value assets.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain up‑to‑date records for all jewellery materials and monitor daily inward, outward, transfer and sales movements.
• Conduct regular physical audits, reconcile variances and generate accurate stock reports.
• Coordinate stock planning and replenishment with production, merchandising and retail units.
• Manage tagging, barcoding and classification according to company standards.
• Handle purchase orders, GRNs, issue slips and stock registers, ensuring proper documentation.
• Track slow‑moving and fast‑moving items and produce periodic analysis.
• Ensure compliance with insurance, safety protocols and company inventory policies.
• Collaborate with the accounts team for stock valuation and reconciliation.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in jewellery inventory management, preferably handling gold and diamonds.
• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
• Ability to manage confidential, high‑value inventory responsibly.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, reporting).
• Experience with ERP or jewellery‑specific software (e.g., Gati, Tally).
• Knowledge of stock valuation methods and audit processes.
