Java Team Lead

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Java Team Lead to guide a group of developers in designing, building, and delivering high‑quality, scalable applications. The role combines deep technical expertise with strong leadership and stakeholder communication.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and manage a team of Java developers to ensure high performance and productivity.
• Design, implement, deploy and support robust Java solutions.
• Perform development and unit testing while collaborating closely with business stakeholders.
• Ensure architectural designs comply with specifications and quality standards.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Develop high‑volume, low‑latency, mission‑critical applications with high availability and performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional Java development experience.
• Proven experience leading and managing development teams.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills.

• Java (Core Java, J2EE, OOP concepts)
• Spring / Spring‑Boot, Play Framework, Struts
• JPA / Hibernate and other ORMs
• Messaging systems: Kafka, SQS, SNS, JMS
• NoSQL databases and Elasticsearch (MongoDB, Elastic Search)
• Relational databases: Oracle, MySQL
• Build and CI tools: Maven, Jenkins
• Version control: Git, Mercurial, SVN
