Java Developer (4-8 years) – Mumbai

About the role

We are looking for a Java Developer with 4-8 years of experience to design, develop, integrate, and support enterprise applications and RESTful services. The role requires strong hands‑on expertise in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, SQL, Hibernate, and JPA, together with practical experience using modern source‑control, build, and deployment tools.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Java/J2EE applications using Spring and Spring Boot.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs using JAX‑RS and JSON, ensuring reliability and secure coding practices.
• Build and maintain persistence layers with SQL, Hibernate, and JPA.
• Manage source code with Git or SVN, handling branching, merging, and collaborative development.
• Create and maintain builds using Maven, Gradle, or Ant, including dependency and version management.
• Contribute to microservices development and deployment on cloud infrastructure.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments with Jenkins scripts.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of relevant software development experience.
• Strong programming experience in Java and J2EE.
• Hands‑on experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs using JAX‑RS and JSON.
• Good knowledge of SQL and experience with Hibernate and JPA.
