IT Systems Administrator

About the role

We are looking for an experienced IT Systems Administrator to join our US‑based client on a fully remote basis. The role works EST hours and requires immediate availability. You will act as a high‑autonomy execution partner, turning technical direction into reliable, documented, and automated solutions across device management, identity, and SaaS administration.

Key responsibilities

• Manage macOS fleet via Jamf Pro: policies, configuration profiles, Smart Groups, scripts, and packages.
• Perform fleet remediation, OS migration campaigns, DEP/ADE enrollment, and hardware lifecycle processes.
• Develop production‑grade Bash/Zsh/Python scripts for automation, remediation, and scheduled maintenance.
• Contribute to endpoint observability using FleetDM/osquery.
• Administer Okta: SSO/SAML/OIDC integrations, SCIM provisioning, group and lifecycle policies, and access reviews.
• Support Google Workspace directory services and conditional‑access policies.
• Administer business‑critical SaaS applications, handling provisioning, licensing, and vendor troubleshooting.
• Execute IT processes: change management, onboarding/offboarding automation, runbook execution, and security initiatives such as access audits and CVE remediation.
• Track work in Jira, provide status updates, and maintain clear documentation.

Required profile

• Proven hands‑on experience with enterprise‑scale device management and identity platforms.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and communicate status effectively.
• Immediate joiner with willingness to undergo strict background checks.
• Comfortable working remotely on EST schedule.
