IT Support Specialist – Tier 1/2 – Chennai

About the role

Join Husky Technologies as a Tier 1/2 IT Support Specialist in Chennai, providing first‑level troubleshooting and assistance to end‑users. You will handle tickets, support hotline calls, and collaborate with higher‑level support teams to resolve incidents efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Interact directly with users, fielding IT support tickets and hotline incidents.
• Perform first‑level troubleshooting on incidents and service requests.
• Document detailed resolution steps and escalate complex issues to Tier 2/3 teams.
• Train end‑users on hardware functionality and software applications.
• Administer user accounts in Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange.
• Support on‑prem corporate conferencing workshops and meetings.
• Monitor hardware, software, and system performance; maintain databases and security.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a large enterprise technical support role.
• College diploma or equivalent in an IT program; certifications such as A+, Network+, Security+, MCSE or MCP are favorable.
• Self‑motivated, strong initiative, integrity, team player with excellent communication skills.
