IT Support Specialist – Tier 1/2 – Chennai

About the role

We are looking for an IT Support Specialist to join our Chennai team. The role is focused on Tier 1/2 support, handling user requests and incidents through our incident management system. You will provide first‑line troubleshooting, documentation and escalation as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to user calls and tickets, acting as Tier 1/2 support.
• Perform first‑level troubleshooting on hardware, software and network incidents.
• Document steps taken, resolve issues or escalate to Tier 3 when required.
• Provide end‑user training and detailed resolution notes.
• Occasionally allocate time to IT project tasks.
• Administer user accounts in Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange.
• Support on‑premise corporate conferencing workshops and meetings.
• Monitor hardware, software and system performance metrics.

Required profile

• Experience delivering Tier 1/2 IT support in a corporate environment.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with end users.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with higher‑level support teams.
