IT Support Specialist – Technical Services for IBM Employees

About the role

The Technical Support Specialist provides end‑to‑end technical services to IBM employees, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. You will handle software configuration, device setup, upgrades, reimaging, installation, and software troubleshooting.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a full workload of technical services, from hardware diagnostics to software repair.
• Use reference materials, support centers, and diagnostic tools to resolve issues promptly.
• Document all incidents accurately and in a timely manner.
• Communicate status, potential problems, and solutions to IBM management and team members.
• Identify opportunities to improve service processes and recommend enhancements.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and active listening.
• At least 2 years of professional Windows support experience.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware and software for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
• Ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely.
