IT Support Specialist – Remote

About the role

This full‑time remote position supports a growing US‑based company by being the first point of contact for clients and internal teams. You will troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues, maintain systems, and ensure smooth IT operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑level technical support via email, phone, and remote‑desktop tools.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network problems promptly.
• Assist in setup, configuration, and maintenance of company systems, hardware and software.
• Guide users through problem‑solving processes and deliver training when needed.
• Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team or department.
• Maintain detailed records of incidents, resolutions and configurations using a ticketing system.
• Support software deployments and updates, ensuring compatibility.
• Perform basic network troubleshooting and minor server maintenance.
• Track and analyze recurring issues to improve system efficiency.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in an IT support role, preferably in a fast‑paced, customer‑facing environment.
• Remote work experience and supporting international clients is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Spanish; Portuguese is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, able to work independently.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Windows, macOS and Linux operating systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud and Azure.
• Experience using remote‑desktop applications and ticketing systems.
• Understanding of basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN).
• Hardware troubleshooting and maintenance.
