IT Support Engineer

About the role

McFadyen Digital is looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer to provide first‑ and second‑line support across its global offices. You will ensure the smooth operation of user devices, accounts, and the Microsoft 365 environment while supporting basic networking infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver daily IT Helpdesk support, troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues, and manage onboarding/offboarding processes.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) and manage user accounts, licenses, and group policies via Entra ID.
• Configure, deploy and maintain Windows and macOS laptops and desktops, enforce patching, antivirus and endpoint protection policies.
• Perform basic LAN/WAN and Wi‑Fi troubleshooting, assist with VPN configuration and collaborate with network/security teams for escalations.
• Maintain IT asset inventory, licensing master inventory, and create/update documentation and SOPs.

Required profile

• 4–6 years of hands‑on experience in IT Helpdesk support, Office 365 administration, end‑user computing, and basic networking.
• Proven ability to provide first‑ and second‑line support in a multi‑site, global environment.
• Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.
