IT Support Engineer I

About the role

Amazon Operations seeks a self‑motivated IT Support Engineer I to deliver high‑quality technical support across a defined geographic area. You will implement solutions for hardware, operating systems, and enterprise applications while ensuring network and system availability for global customers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage local technical projects and drive improvements.
• Develop, maintain, and enforce policies, procedures, and processes.
• Identify root causes of operational issues and process inefficiencies.
• Provide remote support to global customers and travel within the region as needed.
• Perform network engineering, troubleshooting, data cabling, and systems administration.
• Ensure networking and computing infrastructure remain operational during production hours.
• Collaborate with management and staff to deliver analytical and technical assistance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience with networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI Model, and TCP/IP.
• Minimum 2 years troubleshooting in a multi‑user, high‑availability environment.
• 2+ years of experience in PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment, and liquidation.
