IT Support Engineer – Desktop & Software Assistance

About the role

We are looking for an IT Support Engineer to join the Global Service Desk of a leading multinational corporation. The role involves providing desktop, laptop and software assistance to internal users, both on‑site and remotely, and ensuring smooth operation of their IT environment.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software incidents reported via ServiceNow or other ticketing tools.
• Provide first‑line (L1) support for Windows, macOS, Apple, Dell and Lenovo devices.
• Install, configure and uninstall applications on desktops and laptops.
• Escalate complex issues to higher support tiers when necessary.
• Deliver exceptional customer service through in‑person, phone, chat or remote sessions.
• Document resolutions and maintain accurate ticket records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience in desktop/IT support, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Good interpersonal skills for interacting with internal and external customers.
