IT & Security Administrator

About the role

Swades AI is looking for a hands‑on IT & Security Administrator to operate and protect its daily IT and security stack. You will be responsible for eliminating shared credentials, unmanaged devices, and uncontrolled access as the company scales.

Key responsibilities

• Create and manage individual user accounts, enforce organization‑wide MFA, and operate a password manager with role‑based vault access.
• Execute same‑day onboarding with least‑privilege access and ensure all off‑boarding revokes access within one hour.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date access register and conduct monthly access reviews.
• Enroll every work device in Mobile Device Management (MDM), enforce disk encryption, screen lock, OS patching, and remote wipe capabilities.
• Block unenrolled devices from accessing company systems and keep production data on managed devices only.
• Configure and monitor billing/usage alerts for all vendors, manage scoped API keys and secrets, rotate them regularly and on employee departure.
• Reconcile vendor card charges monthly against an approved vendor list.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset for security hygiene.
• Experience implementing identity and access management processes.
• Familiarity with device management and endpoint security best practices.
• Ability to create and follow runbooks for onboarding and off‑boarding.
