IT Operations Support

About the role

The IT Operations Support role is an entry‑level position within MISUMI Americas' IT Operations team. You will be the first point of contact for employees and partners needing assistance with hardware, software, networking, and account access.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and triage IT support requests via ticketing system, email, phone, and in‑person.
• Resolve Level 1 tickets related to hardware, software, networking, and access issues.
• Provision user accounts, perform password resets, and manage access in Okta, Entra, and Google Workspace.
• Support onboarding and off‑boarding processes, including laptop setup and equipment collection.
• Assist senior engineers with SaaS integrations (AWS, Salesforce, Greenhouse, etc.) and manage existing SaaS platforms such as Zoom, Slack, Microsoft Teams, and Iru MDM.
• Perform basic LAN/WAN/VPN troubleshooting and escalate complex network problems.
• Help deploy and maintain Cisco Meraki and FortiGate networking equipment and Avigilon video monitoring systems.
• Maintain hardware inventory records and contribute to knowledge‑base documentation.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidate with foundational knowledge of identity and access management, network administration, security event management, and SaaS management.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to resolve tickets quickly and maintain high satisfaction.
• Effective communication skills and willingness to collaborate with senior engineers and cross‑functional teams.
