IT Operation Specialist

About the role

The IT Operation Specialist will act as a trusted advisor for internal teams, guiding them on application setup, infrastructure design, and deployment to meet Bosch standards. You will ensure new applications are secure, stable, and ready for production while delivering high‑quality IT services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert advice to internal teams on application configuration according to Bosch directives.
• Design and plan IT infrastructure for new applications, focusing on security and stability.
• Lead end‑to‑end onboarding of applications from planning to go‑live.
• Deliver reliable IT services and continuously improve service quality.
• Assist in project planning, provide on‑call support for critical incidents, and travel to customer sites when required.

Required profile

• Engineering or Computer Science degree.
• 4‑7 years of experience in Linux/Windows server administration and modern application platforms.
• Strong technical foundation with a passion for helping internal partners.

• Operating Systems: Linux, Windows Server
• Container platforms: Docker, Kubernetes
• Scripting/Automation: PowerShell, Python, Ansible
• Databases (basic): SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB
• Monitoring tools: Splunk, New Relic
• DevOps tools: Git, Jenkins, Ansible
• Networking & security fundamentals
• ITIL practices (preferred)
