IT Internal Audit Senior Analyst – Bangalore

About the role

Accenture is seeking an experienced IT Internal Audit Senior Analyst to join its Internal Audit Department in Bangalore. You will work on risk‑based audit plans, assess emerging technology risks, and provide advisory services to business partners.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in execution of the risk‑based audit plan and report results to Accenture leadership and the Audit Committee.
• Conduct audits covering emerging risk areas such as cyber security, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, robotic process automation and the Internet of Things.
• Provide advisory services to business partners to proactively identify and manage technology‑related risks.
• Contribute to departmental initiatives that improve audit efficiency and effectiveness.
• Maintain technical and business knowledge through Accenture’s robust training program.

Required profile

• Experience conducting IT external and internal audits, preferably for a global organization.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure technologies, application development, and emerging tech.
• Ability to work flexible hours, collaborate with global teams and travel up to 20%.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Demonstrated analytical thinking, teamwork and collaboration.

Required skills

• IT audit methodologies and standards (ISO 27001, PCI DSS, HIPAA, NIST 800‑53).
• Infrastructure knowledge: networking, data‑centers, virtualization, cloud platforms.
• Operating systems: Windows, Unix.
• ERP applications and vendor‑management controls.
• Predictive modeling and custom analytics for audit planning (preferred).
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CIA, CPA, CCSK (preferred).
