IT Executive

About the role

The IT Executive will support the IT Manager in delivering and maintaining the information technology infrastructure for the ibis Bengaluru Hosur Road hotel. This role ensures that all systems, from networks to applications, operate smoothly to support hotel operations and guest services.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the IT Manager with implementation, maintenance and troubleshooting of databases, network infrastructure, applications, web sites and user support systems.
• Coordinate with external vendors and internal departments to meet information system objectives.
• Analyse user requirements, establish policies and procedures, and plan day‑to‑day IT operations.
• Support equipment and software procurement, including operating systems, storage devices and related licences.
• Conduct inventory audits, ensure compliance with software licensing, and manage backup and anti‑virus solutions.
• Provide timely resolution of user queries and technical issues.
• Motivate and develop the IT team, promote teamwork and maintain effective relationships across all hotel departments.
• Oversee the installation of computer systems, printers, email facilities and ensure continuous system availability.

Required profile

• Proven experience supporting IT operations in a hospitality or similar environment.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and stakeholders.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non‑technical staff.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a focus on delivering reliable IT services.
