IT Cyber Security Manager

About the role

The organization is seeking an experienced IT Cyber Security Manager to lead its security strategy, governance, and operational activities. This senior position will oversee the protection of infrastructure, cloud environments, and data across a consumer‑goods business.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enforce IT security policies, standards, and guidelines aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Manage intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS) and ensure secure configuration of servers, networks, and cloud platforms.
• Monitor security alerts, lead incident response, and drive mitigation activities for cyber threats.
• Conduct regular risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and maintain incident response plans.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, DPDP and other standards; coordinate internal and external audits.
• Lead cyber‑security awareness programs and mentor the IT infrastructure team on security best practices.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in IT security, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer are preferred.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities and travel to plant locations as needed.
