IT Consultant – Banking & Cloud Solutions

About the role

As a member of the Infosys consulting team, you will work closely with banking clients to diagnose issues, design innovative solutions, and drive successful deployments. The role blends domain expertise in consumer banking with technical proficiency in big‑data, cloud, and Oracle retail platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse client problems, propose tailored solutions and develop proposal documents.
• Configure and customize products, conduct conference‑room pilots, and resolve design queries.
• Deliver solution demonstrations, proof‑of‑concept workshops, and effort estimates aligned with client budgets.
• Lead small‑scale projects and contribute to unit‑level initiatives that add high‑value outcomes for customers.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth implementation and client satisfaction.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and logical thinking abilities.
• Excellent client‑facing and communication skills.
• Understanding of financial processes, pricing models and project budgeting.
• Ability to assess current processes, identify improvement areas and recommend technology solutions.

• Big Data technologies – Hadoop.
