IT Business Analyst – Controlling (Finance Analytics)

About the role

Support the Management Accounting and Controlling product team in delivering digital finance solutions. Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to drive requirements, analytics, and process improvements using Snowflake, AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and translate finance and controlling requirements into scalable digital solutions.
• Lead finance transformation initiatives leveraging Snowflake, advanced analytics and AI to improve reporting and forecasting.
• Analyse end‑to‑end data flows and integrations, ensuring data quality and reliability.
• Manage solution delivery activities including backlog prioritisation, sprint planning, testing and user acceptance.
• Develop dashboards, proof‑of‑concepts and innovative analytical solutions such as AI‑powered commentary and conversational analytics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Finance, Business Analytics or related field.
• 6+ years of experience delivering analytics and data‑driven solutions in a corporate environment.
• Strong expertise in Snowflake, SQL, SAP BW/BW4HANA and Azure Data Factory.
• Hands‑on experience with Power BI development, data modelling and performance optimisation.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments; exposure to Python, Machine Learning, AI and Generative AI is a plus.
