IT Asset Management & Helpdesk Operations Executive

About the role

The IT Asset Management & Helpdesk Operations Executive is responsible for maintaining accurate IT asset records, overseeing day‑to‑day helpdesk activities, and ensuring seamless delivery of IT Facility Management Services across multiple locations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, maintain and regularly review the IT Asset Register for hardware and software.
• Track the full asset lifecycle – procurement, allocation, movement, warranty/AMC, and disposal – and perform periodic reconciliations with location IT teams.
• Administer the ITSM tool, logging tickets, monitoring SLA compliance, and generating performance reports.
• Review helpdesk tickets for quality, SLA adherence and user satisfaction, and drive root‑cause analysis for recurring issues.
• Coordinate with location IT teams on asset movements, onboarding, de‑boarding, consumable requirements and audit support.
• Monitor IT Facility Management Service (FMS) providers, validate service reports, and ensure contracted SLA compliance.
• Manage deployment, tracking and maintenance of desktops, laptops, printers, network devices and related software.
• Maintain records of software licenses, contracts and renewals, ensuring compliance with usage policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in IT asset management and helpdesk operations.
• Strong understanding of IT service management processes and SLA monitoring.
• Ability to work closely with distributed IT teams and external service providers.
• Attention to detail for asset reconciliation, licensing and audit activities.
