IT Administrator

About the role

TXG is looking for an IT Administrator to keep the software, systems, and IT infrastructure that power our BIM and project delivery teams running smoothly. You will work on‑site in Calicut, supporting BIM managers, designers, and engineers so they can focus on delivering high‑quality construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for BIM/AEC tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC/BIM 360).
• Configure and monitor LAN/WAN networks, manage firewalls and switches, and ensure secure connectivity for distributed teams.
• Administer servers and workstations, manage user accounts, run backups, and oversee patch and update management.
• Maintain hardware standards for graphics‑intensive BIM workstations (CPU, GPU, RAM, storage).
• Support large BIM files, shared project folders, network storage, and cloud collaboration platforms.
• Handle day‑to‑day IT needs across desktops, laptops, workstations, and printers.
• Maintain IT asset registers, coordinate with internet providers and vendors, and keep documentation of setups and licensing up to date.

Required profile

• Strong technical support and troubleshooting abilities for BIM/AEC applications.
• Experience in network administration (LAN/WAN, firewalls, switches) and secure connectivity.
• Solid system administration background, including server/workstation management, user rights, backups, and patching.
• Good understanding of Windows and/or Linux environments, IT security principles, virtualization basics, and cloud collaboration tools.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical staff.
