IT Administrator

About the role

Telebortix Innovations is seeking an IT Administrator to own the entire IT backbone – endpoints, network, identity and security – ensuring audit‑ready hygiene for defence programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Fleet & endpoint management: commission, image and deploy laptops, workstations and servers; handle asset tagging, warranty tracking, repairs and secure decommissioning.
• MDM administration: deploy and manage Microsoft Intune, JumpCloud or Hexnode for policy enforcement, remote lock/wipe, patch management and software rollouts across Windows, Ubuntu and macOS.
• Network administration: maintain routers, switches, access points and firewalls; run enterprise Wi‑Fi with WPA2/WPA3‑Enterprise, 802.1X authentication via RADIUS, VLAN segmentation and device onboarding/offboarding.
• Identity & access management: administer Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 user provisioning, group policies, SSO, mandatory MFA and rollout of a password manager (e.g., Bitwarden, 1Password).
• Security & compliance: ensure endpoint protection, OS/firmware patching, USB control policies, backup routines and keep IT asset registers ready for ISO 27001 / CERT‑In audits.
• Employee lifecycle IT: manage joiner/mover/leaver workflows, account creation, hardware issue and full access revocation.
• General IT support: day‑to‑day helpdesk, printers, conferencing systems, VPN, vendor/ISP coordination, license management and procurement recommendations.

Required profile

• B.Tech/BCA/Diploma in IT, Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in IT or system administration managing 20+ endpoints.
• Hands‑on experience with enterprise MDM solutions and Windows, Ubuntu, macOS environments.
• Familiarity with network hardware, security protocols and identity management tools.
• Ability to work with sensitive defence data and support audit requirements.
