Irrigation Technician

About the role

The Irrigation Technician will support the planning, installation and commissioning of modern irrigation systems for agricultural and landscaping projects. Working closely with engineers and clients, you will ensure that water delivery solutions are efficient, reliable and meet project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Design irrigation layouts based on site surveys and water requirements.
• Install and connect irrigation components, including controllers, valves, and emitters.
• Perform system testing, calibration, and troubleshooting to guarantee optimal performance.
• Maintain accurate documentation of designs, installations, and service records.
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors, especially for Hunter and Rainbird product lines.

Required profile

• Diploma or engineering degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
• 2‑3 years of hands‑on experience designing and installing irrigation systems.
• Familiarity with Hunter or Rainbird irrigation equipment is preferred.
