iOS Developer – Build and Ship Features for District App

About the role

We are looking for a motivated iOS Developer to join our product team and help ship new features for the District iOS app, which powers ticketing, events, dining and payments. This is an early‑career role where you will work closely with product, design and backend engineers to deliver high‑impact functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and ship features across ticketing, events, dining and payments using Swift and UIKit.
• Translate designs and product requirements into responsive UI with Auto Layout.
• Integrate REST APIs, handle JSON parsing, networking with URLSession and manage data with Core Data.
• Address real‑world edge cases such as loading states, errors, offline behavior and high‑traffic events.
• Debug, profile and fix issues to keep the app fast, stable and crash‑free.
• Participate in code reviews, give and receive feedback.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to scope and deliver features end‑to‑end.
• Reduce technical debt and promote clean architecture and best practices.

Required profile

• 0–2 years of experience building iOS apps (internship experience counts).
• Built at least two apps; having apps on the App Store is a strong plus.
• Graduated with a B.Tech from a Tier‑1 Indian institute (IIT, NIT, BITS Pilani, IIIT or equivalent).
• Experience in a strong B2C product environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Swift and UIKit.
• Solid understanding of iOS fundamentals: Core Data, URLSession, JSON parsing, multithreading (GCD), Auto Layout.
• Familiarity with an architecture pattern such as MVC or MVVM.
• Version control using Git.
