Inventory Management Executive

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Inventory Management Executive to lead and optimise our inventory operations. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock records, forecasting demand, and coordinating with multiple departments to ensure product availability.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain precise inventory records for all inbound, outbound, and transfer movements.
• Conduct regular cycle counts, stock audits and reconcile physical stock with system data.
• Analyse sales trends and business forecasts to set reorder points, safety stock levels and lead‑time buffers.
• Initiate purchase requisitions when inventory approaches defined thresholds.
• Coordinate receipt, storage and dispatch with warehouse teams, ensuring proper labeling and optimal space utilisation.
• Liaise with procurement and vendors to monitor deliveries, resolve delays and assess vendor performance.
• Generate reports on stock levels, turnover, ageing and key metrics such as stock‑to‑sales ratio.
• Develop and refine SOPs, identify bottlenecks and support ERP system enhancements.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with procurement, sales, operations and finance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or a related field.
• 2–4 + years of experience in inventory control, warehouse management or supply‑chain operations.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work with data and KPIs.
• Excellent attention to detail, organisational and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with inventory/ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, V‑lookups, charts).
• Experience with barcode scanning and reporting tools.
