Inventory Executive

About the role

The Inventory Executive will oversee end‑to‑end inventory operations, ensuring accurate stock records and smooth material flow across factories, warehouses and retail outlets. This role is pivotal for maintaining optimal inventory levels and supporting the supply chain in a fast‑moving consumer goods environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain real‑time inventory records using inventory software and monitor stock levels across factories, warehouses and outlets.
• Reconcile physical stock with system data regularly and generate Goods Receipt Notes and issue slips.
• Verify incoming goods against purchase orders and ensure timely dispatch of materials to outlets.
• Conduct weekly or monthly physical stock audits, prepare variance reports and share inventory updates with management.
• Coordinate with purchase, production and outlet managers to manage stock flow and respond to stock requests.
• Identify slow‑moving, expired or damaged items, monitor wastage and pilferage trends and recommend preventive actions.
• Follow ERP/SOP procedures for stock movement, documentation and data entry.

Required profile

• Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration or related field (B.Com/BBA preferred).
• Approximately 13 years of experience in inventory or store‑keeping roles, preferably within the food, FMCG or retail sector.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and coordination abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with inventory management systems or ERP software.
