Inventory Executive

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Inventory Executive to oversee inventory accuracy and material flow within our 50,000 sq ft manufacturing facility in Jaipur. The role involves managing raw material, packaging, work‑in‑progress and finished‑goods inventories for a fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) food brand.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily inventory operations for raw materials, packaging, WIP and finished goods.
• Monitor end‑to‑end inbound and outbound movements and ensure accurate entries in the warehouse system.
• Maintain the bin system – allocation, labeling, location accuracy and proper stock placement.
• Conduct cycle counts, physical verification and regular stock reconciliation.
• Investigate shortages, excess, damages and report discrepancies.
• Apply FIFO/FEFO principles, track batch numbers, manufacturing and expiry dates.
• Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Quality, Warehouse and Logistics teams for smooth material flow.
• Prepare periodic inventory reports, highlight critical variances and support audits.
• Identify process gaps and suggest improvements to boost inventory accuracy and warehouse efficiency.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in inventory, warehouse, stores or supply‑chain operations, preferably in FMCG or food manufacturing.
• Graduate or Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Commerce or related field.
• Strong numerical accuracy, attention to detail and ownership of documentation.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of MS Excel.
• Experience with ERP, WMS or other inventory management systems.
